Agent News - 3/14/10

The remaining staff of literary agency The Creative Culture has become part of DeFiore and Company Author Services. Agents Debra Goldstein, Laura Nolan, Matthew Elblonk and Karen Gerwin have all joined DeFiore. See my 2/28/10 update on Mary Ann Naples' status. (Source: Publishers Weekly)

David Patterson has joined Foundry Literary + Media as an agent. Patterson was most recently a senior editor at Henry Holt and Company, where he worked for three years, after having worked as an editor at PublicAffairs. At Foundry he will be focusing on serious narrative nonfiction, with some pop subjects and authors, and the occasional work of fiction. He can be reached at dpatterson@foundrymedia.com. Agent Jud Laghi has formed the Jud Laghi Agency. He will continue to be affiliated with LJK Literary Management.
